Where Was Tim McLaughlin, And The Rest Of The Board Of Supervisors Tonight?

Where was Tim McLaughlin tonight?

Oh, I forgot, he lives in North Carolina, yet  still sits as a Moon Township supervisor. How can he represent the community when he lives in North Carolina! He cannot represent the people of Moon Township when he sits in his apartment down in Charlotte when such an important meeting that will directly affect Moon Township residents is happening in the community he moved away from. Please step down now. You are unfit to serve the community.

Where were these guys, as well: Frank Sinatra, Jim Vitale, Marv Eicher, and Andy Gribben?

Where was State Rep. T. Mark Mustio tonight? And, where was State Senator John Pippy tonight?

Tonight was an extremely important meeting held at the Canon-McMillian High School, which was sponsored by State Rep. Jesse White, D-Cecil, who opened the meeting at 6:30 with 19 panelists, who were all supervisors or paid staff people from the various municipalities from the surrounding area. Robinson Township was there. North Strabane, Cecil Township, North Fayette, and others were there to discuss how to handle Marcellus Shale drilling, and fracking in their communities.

They were there to begin the formation of the Municipal Marcellus Cooperative-MMC-where these various members would ban together to protect their communities from the Marcellus Shale heavy industry trampling upon their communities, and invading their residential neighborhoods without proper ordinances.

I will report more about this meeting in further postings.

What needs to be brought out here now is how embarrassing it was to know that Moon Township was NOT represented. No one from the board or staff attended this meeting. Nor was Mustio or Pippy there.
They must not be too interested to see and hear what the communities surround the area are experiencing.

They needed to hear that WE MUST HAVE CHANGES IN HARRISBURG THAT WILL BENEFIT THE COMMUNITIES THAT ARE BEING INVADED, AND IN SOME CASES ABUSED BY THESE DRILLERS AND FRACKERS.

We need a Marcellus Shale state tax that will support the costs put out by local taxpayers covering the costs that are NOT paid for by these drillers and frackers. By not having the proper taxing in place, the taxpayers are experiencing a backdoor tax to pay for it.

More to come.
